IT'S A DANGEROUS WORLD

Saturday morning. Third day of the year 2026. I'm finishing up my day on Don's Delicious blog, commenting inside of the safety of his mental health Nation, a safe place for those of us who are too conservative for the vestiges of the dying? Transforming? Democratic world. I have and please allow me to be clear a little better understanding than normal people. I am very sensitive, and my awareness extends to The rhythms of life, and even an awareness of my God, so much so that's a stories that I tell are unbelievable. Not only did my call to preach seep in continuously in my life, but I also had two very dramatic visions where the word preach was outlined in fiery letters and simultaneously and overwhelming sense of love flooded my heart. The first time it happened I was in a church service during a period which they called The altar call where people spontaneously came down to the altar to pray and as one of my favorite men in the church sat beside me and I realized in a bromance way how much he loved me and I loved him this overwhelming sense of love slammed into my presence and I sat and I wept. Very undignified. 
Since one of my personal gifts is the ability to limit myself, I will begin the wrap up, along with an indication of where I am going today. I have started a blog MAD DOGS LANDMAN, centered around Paramounts streaming series starring Billy Bob Thornton. Spoiler alert. One of the first stories is about an explosion, actually a series of explosions, one of which incinerates and obliterates and entire crew with the exception of Billy Bob's son, and that is the theme I will explore today. Life is very very dangerous. Stay tuned.

CELEBRITY PREACHER

I was 26 years old and loaded with ambition when I went to my first church in Mohall North Dakota. Grant May was the youngest board member at the age of 50 and the rest were in their 60s and seventies. As I drove around the beautiful countryside only 15 miles from the Canadian border I couldn't help but notice the oil wells. This was in the day when 99% of all oil wells drilled straight down. Grant was the leading and youngest board member and had a very productive well on his land. When I decided from time to time to invite special speakers to the little church 55 miles from Minot, probably because of my very charming wife they decided to support some of the wild ideas I had. THE SHEPHERD AND SHEPHERDESS

Continuing my thought on IT'S A DANGEROUS WORLD, I'd like to suggest to protect the youngest of us, God gives that responsibility to a shepherd and a shepherdess. Mom and dad. These are my parents at their wedding in Springfield Illinois. I was there also in my mother's tummy which kind of explains why they were getting married. Don't get me wrong. They passionately loved each other. I guess I'm proof of that.  I was born a super curious child. I remember sitting watching Mom vacuum with an electric vacuum cleaner. I must have asked how that was powered because I remember her explaining that electricity ran down the cord and came from the wall and that's what powered it, that is the vacuum cleaner.  My dangerous penchant for testing theories out formulated an idea in my head and I noticed a bobby pin laying on the carpet, and I made the observation that it looked like it would fit very nicely in the electric outlet.  I may be exaggerating a little bi...
